The Reliquum serves as a means to an end. Lead with dark intentions, Corvus Letalis has gathered like-minded individuals to serve in not only the destruction of The Dawn Vigil but also the reconstruction of a powerful ascian. While their methods are unorthodox, their goal remains the same, to destroy the ascian’s broken psyche that has been scattered across Hydaelyn and beyond. With the destruction of each shard, Reliquum moves one step closer to his restoration and the ultimate annihilation of our star.

Corvus tol Letalis
Former tribunus of the XIIth legion, hastily promoted and then abandoned after events in Ala Mhigo. Refused to allow his legion to be dissolved, taking those left behind and setting off on his own path. He continues on with his last remaining mission; The destruction of the Dawn Vigil and its leader. He created Reliquum from the remnants of the XIIth, and continued to take in those seeking purpose or whose interests aligned with his own. However, he's not quite sure what motivated him to create the organization, what voice whispered the idea into his ear. He only knows that it may prove vital in his hunt.

Cedrik Greist
Unlike most Viera, Cedrik has never seen the forests of his ancestral homeland nor does he wish to. Born of a pair who had fled the forest to see the world.
Cedrik was taught the skills of a wood-warder by his father Ven Arda, and his mother, Rael Fyth, taught him not only of the outside world his parents loved so much but also of the forest they had once called home so he would understand his heritage.
Tragedy struck when during a freak accident killed Ven during Cedrik’s right of passage, a wood-warder tradition. Distraught, Cedrik returned to his home to find it destroyed and his mother missing. He sat there stunned for a few hours before a strange figure clad in a ratty black robe strolled to the wreckage seemingly from nowhere and began to rummage around in the debris.
Cedrik was wary of the stranger as he approached after pocketing a few odd pieces of debris and offered his hand in friendship. Suspicious, Cedrik peered under the man’s hood but saw only a yellow mask. With nowhere left to go, he took the stranger’s hand.

Deumschurtz
Ascians are a strange and dangerous bunch but none are more strange than the one called Deumschurts. This particular Ascian is an outcast of Ascian “Society”, if you can call it that, as he was deemed too sundered to be of any use. Yes; Deumshurtz is perhaps the most sundered being in existence, having an unknown number of shards and a heavily fractured mind as a result. Their shards vary widely from those of relatively sound mind to those that think spiders have a good fashion sense.Through a cruel twist of fate the single mindedness of the shards has given them access to a terrifying power, the ability to change the world around them to fit whatever they believe. For instance; If a shard believes a single feather to weigh as much as an entire chocobo, it will become so.Now you may be wondering: What hope do we have against such terrifyingly evil beings as these? That’s where the Dawn Vigil comes into play! As the one and only line of defense against these mad beings, the Vigil has thwarted their schemes time and time. Indeed, they have thwarted the dastardly Deumschurtz so many times, to date, that they’ve become a primary target of the shards’ dreadful plans. Now that you know the threat are you willing to join the fight against madness itself?

With a deep exhale, she took a few steps forward and proceeded into the darkness.

Marik quo Phlox
Marik quo Phlox, a name somewhat infamous amongst the nobility of Ala Mhigo. He was only a boy when the country fell to Garlemald, and their upheaval of the system cost his family everything. Once nobility of the nation, the Phlox family lost both wealth and status when they failed to bend the knee. Seeking to make amends and reobtain some of his family's former wealth, Marik readily joined up with the Garleans when he came of age.Marik spent the better part of a decade serving with the XIIth legion, fighting Garlemald's battles all across the East. Acts of cruelty against his own people earned him a "permanent" station in Doma, fighting pockets of rebellion as they arose. There he lost his sight to a Doman samurai, and in Hingashi he stayed until news of both Doma and Ala Mhigo's freedom came to him.
Soon after, the XIIth was to be dissolved... If not for its new Tribunus. Marik signed on with Corvus' new band of misfits, seeking opportunity or revenge... Or maybe a little voice had spoken in his ear, telling him this was the right decision.

Duluc Hyskaris
Ancient by standards of most men, Duluc has seen much of the star and its horrors from behind the wood's shaded bowers. When flame and ruin came for their neighbors, Duluc demanded that his clan intervene, that they fight off the invaders... Yet the clan did not heed his words. No, they balked at the idea that they should ever leave their wooded home. Let the others fend for themselves, let them fight off their own ruin with their machines and their gods...
Yet when ruin and flame came for them, did they not cry out for others to save them? In their final moments, Duluc chose to do for his clan what they had done for their neighbors. They proved unequal to the task, their spears and bows unable to match the might of machine and magic. If only they had heeded his words.
Duluc left his wooded home, resigning himself to exile and setting himself to adventure... Yet when his adventures failed to provide him challenge and his companions proved themselves less than faithful, it was his old enemy that brought him purpose. Now Duluc serves the Masked One as his hand, ever eager to strike another name from his Master's list.
